Shopping in Los Angeles can be a daunting task… if you don’t know where to look. With Southern California’s famous sunny skies, it is no surprise that business owners chose to capitalize on the picture-perfect weather. Outdoor shopping streets in LA have become somewhat of an institution, and the variety is endless. From the infamous designer boutiques lining Rodeo Drive to the kitschy vintage shops of Melrose Avenue, there truly is something for everybody and every budget. TFJ set out to find some of the hidden gems that LA’s shopping scene has to offer. Here is what we found:
Pink Lili Intimates:
1129 Montana Ave, Santa Monica, 90403
(310) 576-7100
From lavish La Perla and Eres to the more affordable Elle Macpherson and Cosabella- Pink Lili offers the best selections of lingerie and loungewear on the Westside. Adding to the indulgent experience is the romantic ambiance and décor, leaving you feeling sexy in your skivvies! They specialize in helping your special someone find the perfect gift, too… so ladies, send in your honey and you will not be disappointed! They also are the perfect place for bachelorette parties and bridal shower gifts.
Principessa:
1323 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, 90291
(310) 450-6696
With all of our favorite designers in one place, what’s not to love about Principessa? Hand-picked selections from Ella Moss, Diane Von Furstenberg, James Perse, and Rebecca Minkoff line the racks and beg to empty your wallet. For the budget-conscious, head down the hall to their offshoot Vamp, where you can find equally tempting finds for under $50. Be sure to stop by Principessa during Abbot Kinney’s “First Fridays”, where you can late night shop and schmoose- with a glass of wine to boot!
Lily Simone:
5022 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles 90041
(323) 254-0530
Tucked away in the up and coming neighborhood of Eagle Rock, Lily Simone offers a unique selection of small local labels and the designers we all know and love. Owned by a former stylist (Simone Johnston), you are sure to be greeted with a stellar selection of trendy clothing, accessories, and home wear in this mid century modern boutique. To add a little sweetness to the mix, be sure to check out their retro candy bar!
XO Studio:
1062 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, 90024
(310) 209-1000
At TFJ, it’s not just about fashion- we’ve got all our bases covered! Need a brow wax or a facial?
