If you are reading this, you must agree that fashion week is the most exciting time of the year. Some say it is the "Olympics" for fashion, and that's what I believe! People from all over the world come together to celebrate and showcase their work. I love seeing how everybody is so different yet for those weeks we are all the same: Die hard fashionistas!

After seeing all the collections, I created some hypothetical situations that I think best describe some of the collections, ready? 

If I were:

A super cool Cali girl & I like rock 'n roll : MIU MIU .

An Oscar nominee: Elie Saab

An effortless yet sexy woman : Lavin

An East Village Boy: Duckie Brown 

One of the guest to the MET gala: Carolina Herrera 

A model living in New York: Alexander Wang

Blair from Gossip Girl: Jill Sanders

The First lady: Oscar de La Renta

A bold, powerful yet vulnerable woman: McQueen

Going on a first date: Chanel

Beautiful and elegant with an edge: Proenza

There you have it. Those were some of my favorites collection this season. I probably am missing some very beautiful collections, but I can not cover everything! Enjoy!!!!

What To Wear?

I am sure there are times when you open your closet and you feel you don't have anything to wear and several thoughts would cross your mind. You feel that nothing fits properly or you need brand new things. The true is though:You might just need a little inspiration!!

The best thing I can tell you is to go and just grab some ideas off Internet, magazines, from friends, or even your favorite movie star - I guarantee you that then you would find something to wear. You just need to think outside the box and really have fun. Start matching, laying, and pairing different items to create a complete look.

Let the fashion statement be yourself. When I am dressing I am thinking of "me" at all times. It might sound a little bit narcissistic, but I do want my personality and my points of view to come across. So, for me, it is very important that I feel 100% comfortable with the things I am wearing so that I can rock it!

Fashion is life and life is fashion! 

So next time you need a new outfit look twice and you might find a complete new wardrobe.
